What is an OTT platform?

An OTT (Over-the-Top) platform is a technology solution that enables video content delivery to viewers over the internet. OTT platforms typically include tools for content management, video encoding and transcoding, multi-device application delivery (covering smart TVs, mobile, web and connected devices), monetisation models, analytics and user engagement features. Well-known examples of OTT services include Netflix, Disney+ and HBO Max. Businesses and media companies use OTT platforms to launch and manage their own streaming services.

Can Leyra support both new streaming services and existing platforms?

Yes. Whether you are launching a new streaming service from scratch or migrating an existing one, Leyra is built to support you at any stage. For new services, our onboarding process is straightforward and our team will guide you through everything you need to get up and running.
